Laughing Out Loud About Internet Jargon

Ok, so for years I've resisted learning more about the internet slang the kids are using. But now, with an increasing number of millenials working in my client's offices, I find myself looking up some of the terms on a weekly basis. Correct me if I'm wrong but I still think that internet jargon should be left out of business email and reserved instead for instant messaging (IM). Do you agree? ( P.S. I was happy to confirm this morning that LOL still means Laughing Out Loud and not "Lookitup Old Lady!")
